Saddle Up Episode # 15 The Great Silence / Hateful Eight

July 15, 2019

Hey y'all, this week we bring you the Quentin Tarantino epic, The Hateful Eight. And what would inspire QT (it's a thing) this and his previous movies?  I'm glad you asked and Jack Falvey listened, cause our brother from another podcast suggested The Great Silence.

And if you are going to suggest something, best be ready to join the discussion and talk the talk, Jack joins Pat and Lance (the official-unofficial guest) and myself.

There is a spoiler alert about 46 minutes in so if yo have not seen the The Great Silence I suggest you stop there and fast forward (we still use tape here....don't judge) to 1 hour 6 minutes to get the juicy on Hateful Eight.  And in the famous words of the great gunslinger Silence,.......................................................................................  Couldn't have said it better myself.....enjoy

THR Episode #157 - Godzilla King of Monsters / Godzilla (Gojira 1954)

THR Episode #157 - Godzilla King of Monsters / Godzilla (Gojira 1954)

June 6, 2019

Oh No!  There goes Tokyo.  Go, go Godzilla!  We've got the dynamic duo here tonight!  It's Brian and Phillip.... wait, who has to be Robin?  We take on the brand new Godzilla: King of Monsters and pair it with with, arguably, THE classic monster movie, the original gangsta himself, Godzilla (Gojira) from 1954.  These movies are all called 100 different things based on where they were released, so it gets complicated.  Phillip updates the Brightburn score after the beating it took last week. Brian gives us some history on Wu-Tang Clan, and as it turns out, they ain't nothing to fuck with.  Steven Lowblad is an awesome mother fucker, and also our newest patreon subscriber.  Man I wish I could be as awesome as that guy.  If only there were a way to be more like him...... Enough talking, it's time to destroy some tiny cities wearing super uncomfortable rubber suits... I knew I bought that Robin outfit for a reason.
